Wilson – The Omaha Experience

2021 College World Series:  Take me out to the ballpark… or at least the swanky Wilson Sporting Goods retail store.  Located in the Omaha Baseball Village (OBV), the objective was to create a unified consumer experience among all of Wilson’s family of baseball and softball brands.  Of course, Renze was honored to work alongside the Wilson team to make that happen.

According to Mike Zulla, Wilson’s Global Art Director, “In the past the space was designed independently by brand, and we wanted a more cohesive space this year.”  Renze was happy to collaborate to satisfy the ask.  Mike said, “Renze handled everything we asked, made suggestions to increase the “wow” factor, and ultimately went above and beyond to ensure we were 100% satisfied.”

This project enlisted nearly the gamut of environmental graphics; wall mural, printed/plotted vinyl, glass coverings, dimensional logos, slat wall posters, pricing decals and magnets, general signage, wire-hung fabric pole pocket banners, a custom trophy case acrylic topper, multi-depth dimensional graphic prints and floor decals.

The ultimate result… Mike stated, “Without question, the Wilson store was, by far, the most professional retail space at the 2021 OBV and it made our brands stand out as leaders in the industry; competitors’ exhibits were mainly outdoor tents and inflatables.  Working with Renze was a great decision for Wilson Baseball.”

Renze was thankful to be included and look forward to continuing the partnership.  Mike ended with, “Wilson is proud to be a part of the College World Series and the Omaha community during these few weeks every summer.  We already look forward to returning in 2022.  Hope to see you there!”
