Making History with Cobalt

Selecting the right partner to showcase 75 years in business can be stressful, especially with high visibility.  Renze was grateful to work with Cobalt Credit Union to bring their longevity and traditions to life.  Showing simple images is one approach, but graphically telling the story is quite another.

A somewhat tight deadline, Cobalt’s team did an exceptional job choosing milestones in a timely manner and provided designs that were challenging to say the least.  According to the lead designer, “As the design progressed, we found that it was going to be rather complicated in terms of production, as we definitely stretched boundaries.”  The project used a standard cleat & block system, and incorporated solid opaque panels, low-glare clear acrylic, wood-finish DiNoc to match the staircase at HQ, corporate color-matched & metallic vinyl, dimensional acrylic, and even panels hung together with finishing wire with eyelets and posts.

Cobalt’s team said, “What could have been a stressful experience was actually really fun!  We learned a lot about the materials and process of creating our piece along the way. Renze’s consultative approach and overall expertise was incredible. We quickly felt confident they could translate our vision into a beautiful installation – and they delivered.”
