RENZE recently partnered with Jack Flash to elevate the customer experience at their newest ground-up development in Pana, IL. Jack Flash has a unique take on the convenience store space. According to the company, we have always wanted to “wow the customers as they walk through the door… do extraordinary things that may have never been done in the c-space.” This commitment to the customer experience has helped them grow from just one location in 1986 to now over 17 locations in IL & MO. Although every location’s footprint is different, one thing remains the same… “the desire to create a customer experience that exceeds imagination.”
John Wortman, owner of Jack Flash, saw RENZE’s solutions at a tradeshow in IL and decided this was the next evolution. Based on exceptional collaboration, RENZE designed and installed four 17' x 4' lightboxes above the beverage coolers, six backlit 2.5' x 2.5' hanging cubes, and four 8' x 3' front lit hanging signs. This effort not only provides wayfinding in the 16,000 square foot space, but it also helps trigger emotional purchases. Where else have you seen this kind of investment in the c-space?
This partnership has been serendipitous. A company that recognizes the value of elevating the customer experience and a company that can deliver on those expectations. According to Wortman, “RENZE went above and beyond to ensure that the designs and installed product were perfect. They spent extra time to ensure everything was cohesive and followed the brand we’ve built for years.”

Jack Flash —
“The goals of most convenience store chains typically involve growing their store count or increasing their profitability. While we strive to do both of those things, we never lose sight of our number one goal of providing a unique experience to every customer. No amount of money or recognition could replace the satisfaction of hearing a customer say “wow, I have never seen anything like this!”. The passion for creating these experiences is truly what drives us forward.”
